Alto Adige: Elena Walch

Elena Walch:  This is an exceptional family-owned producer founded by its namesake – a pioneer for making quality wines in the Alto Adige.  Nathalie our host gave us the royal treatment which included a full tour (amazing cellars!) and tasting flight.  Karoline Walch took time out to introduce herself as well.  High-elevation vineyards with limited yield produce concentrated wines with character.   The Gewurztraminer, Pinot Bianco blends, and Legrein were drinking well.
