Rome: Trimani Enoteca

Trimani Enoteca:  After 20 hours of travel, we arrived in Rome and checked in to our hotel, Domus Australia.   It was already 9 p.m., and we were delighted to find this gem of a wine bar and shop located across the street!  Apparently, it’s one of the oldest and most regarded wine establishments in Rome.  Hungry, we enjoyed hearty bread and a lovely cheeseboard with generous portions.  The wine selection was extensive, and it featured an array of small production wines from Italy and abroad.  Lovely atmosphere and friendly service at no extra charge.  It was a great start to our trip.
